Amplicon raise £500 in a relaxing, pampered, charity fundraiser

Brighton, UK, 28th June 2016 – Friday 24th June saw Amplicon host a charity day in aid of locally based charity CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people, and their families. CLIC Sargent has helped thousands of young people all over the country and has a close connection to a member of the Amplicon team.

It was an action packed day with plenty of fundraising activities taking place. There was a chance to have a relaxing massage, a manicure, makeover or even a haircut for the boys. For a mid morning snack, cream teas were offered and the day’s activities were rounded off with a prize loaded raffle.

There were some excellent prizes up for grabs including Luke, our technical support engineer winning a Mercedes for the weekend as well as sales engineer, Niraj winning two tickets to Brighton race course. Overall, after a great day that was had by all, we had to remember we were there to raise as much money as possible for a great cause.

After the final count up Amplicon had raised a fantastic £500 for CLIC Sargent and everyone at Amplicon should be very proud of themselves for raising that amount of money.

Gina Citroni, Amplicon CEO says: “It makes me very proud of my team that they can come up with innovative and enjoyable ways of fundraising and manage to raise such good amounts for charity.”

CLIC Sargent Community Fundraising Manager Helen Farquharson said: “We are absolutely thrilled that the team at Amplicon is making this wonderful contribution. We really appreciate the hard work and generosity that has gone in to raising the pounds – every penny raised will help provide vital support for children and young people with cancer, and their families.” For further details about Am
