Amplicon raises £1,540 for local animal charity, Wadars
In 2022/2023, Amplicon continued to support local charities with their “Amplicon Bell Ringer” donation scheme, where for every £10,000 order booked, a £10 token is donated to one of three chosen charities. Thanks to generosity of the Amplicon Directors, who selected the charity and the hard-working Amplicon sales team, an amazing £1,540 has been raised for Wadars Animal Rescue.
Wadars is an animal welfare charity based in Worthing, rescuing wildlife, and rehoming companion animals in all shapes and sizes, and they have been doing this tirelessly since 1969. Last year, Wadars rescued more than 2000 injured, orphaned and at risk birds and wildlife, and rehomed over 200 cats, dogs and other companion animals.
Team Amplicon were delighted to meet Jenny Freeman, the Fundraising Manager from Wadars, at the Amplicon Brighton offices for the donation cheque presentation. This was a fantastic opportunity for Amplicon to learn more about the amazing projects the charity works on as well as the challenges it faces. It was also great to understand how the Amplicon donation will help to rehome three dogs, four cats, or even kit out 15 pens in the Wadar’s cattery.
Gina Citroni, Amplicon CEO said: We know that small local animal charities struggle to raise the funds they need to carry out this much needed and valuable rescue service; Amplicon has always been incredibly proud to support these worthwhile, outstanding animal charities
Jenny Freeman, Fundraising Manager at Wadars said: “We are so grateful to everyone at Amplicon for their fantastic fundraising efforts. These vital funds will help support our work with wildlife and domestic animals across the local area. Without the support of local businesses Wadars couldn’t continue so we want to say a huge Thank You to all the team.”
