Taking on pancreatic cancer with 100 mile walking challenge!

During the month of July, the Amplicon Team have set themselves a challenge of completing a 100 mile charity walk in aid of pancreatic cancer research.

The team involvement has been tremendous, with over 25 Amplicon employees coming forward to take on the 100 mile walking challenge. This particular disease is difficult to diagnose, treat and survive, and receives very little funding. The Amplicon goal is to raise much needed funds for this devastating disease that affects over 10,000 people throughout the UK.

We are dedicating this walk to Ben Barden, father in law of our sales manager, Richard Munson. Ben was a fit and active man who enjoyed activities such as running, swimming, triathlons and more.

Amplicon is kindly asking all business partners to support Team Amplicon in this venture by sponsoring the team. Donations, no matter how big or small will make a difference and help win the battle against this disease.

Richard Munson, Amplicon Sales Manager said: “Thank you to the Amplicon team for the overwhelming support and kindness. My wife and the whole family really appreciate the effort and thought that has been put into setting up the 100 mile challenge. The event will make a super contribution towards this important charity”.
