The ioLogik 2512 is a smart remote I/O from Moxa's 2500 series. It has several software and hardware designs that make it ideal for a variety of industrial data acquisition application. The unit has 4-port unmanaged Ethernet switches and 2 screw terminal serial ports (RS232/422/485) with optional cellular and WLAN connectivity. One of the available ports can also be used for daisy chaining the ioLogik E1200 to create I/O arrays with the 2512 acting as the "head" unit through the use of Click&Go Plus.
The 2512 also has several other features such as, Peer-to-peer mode (P2P) for quick connection between P2P devices; a built-in datalogger with support for FTP servers and SD cards as well as the ioLogik 2512 making use of a single IP address, making it easier to connect entire I/O to a network, if IP addresses are limited.
