With thousands of devices such as PLCs and HMIs in the field still operating over a DF1 serial connection, the Moxa MGate EIP 3000 series is a low-cost way to upgrade and expand your automation systems. The EIP products convert DF1 to Ethernet/IP allowing connection of legacy serial devices across a LAN, WAN or even the internet.
The EIP3000 series has a wide range of excellent features built-in such as a DF1 / Ethernet IP protocol analyser, support for multiple masters and virtual COM software for integration with SCADA packages such as RSLinx and Wonderware.
