The Moxa NPort 5000AI-M12 series are extremely rugged serial to Ethernet device servers that have be designed for installation in rolling stock and wayside rail applications. These units are compliant with EN50121-4 and essential sections of EN50155, covering operating temperature, power input voltage, surge and vibrations.

The NPort 5000AI-M12 series are available with 1, 2 or 4 RS232/422/485 serial ports that utilise DB9 connectors, whereas the Ethernet and power ports adopt a rugged M12 connector for maximum reliability under shock and vibration conditions.
